Here we go again! The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), which obviously has no serious cyber-criminals to chase, is now setting its crosshairs on bloggers who have the unmitigated gall to attempt to make a few bucks off their blog site!
According to the F***ing Tyranical Creeps, we humble bloggers who display affiliate links and other shameless forms of advertising on our blogs, are now subject to FTC scrutiny. As with the history of other government institutions, the FTC is going after low-hanging fruit, rather than taking on the truly evil and destructive bad guys, in order to create the illusion that they are actually doing something to protect the masses! So, here comes the obligatory, ass-covering disclaimer:
If you click on a link on this website, a few cents may come my way. If you make a purchase from clicking on an affiliate link, or a link mentioned in a post on this site, a few more cents may drop into the travel kitty. Any advertisement on this site is based on my personal use of, and satisfaction with the product and/or service mentioned. In other words, if I don’t like it a lot, you won’t see it advertised at all!
